Tori SladeI normally wouldn't include my daughter on my web page, since my family life is private, but because Tori was born with Down Syndrome I feel I have to say something about a few of the things Tori has taught me. She's taught me to look past the handicap and see the person; that there is no such thing as "normal" and if there was who wants to be "normal" anyway?; and finally she's taught me how to sing. Really! I rarely sang aloud until she was born; now I sing to her all the time. Once in a while, I'm actually in tune.
